Wild Ecological Corridor
The Weihe River is the largest tributary of the Yellow River and the mother river of Shaanxi, especially for the people of southern Weihe River area. In the planning and design of this district, we focused on the restoration and protection of important riverbank wetland ecosystems, making the ecological restoration of the Weihe Ecological Zone, water conservation demonstration and water landscape enhancement as the main feature for the development of the Weihe River industry.  Six major functional zones were established by inserting modern waterway canals, wetland embankments and ecological corridors, wetland habitat conservation, water forests, etc. The general layout of the functions are planned in two belt and four zones. It efficiently serves the purpose of a national wetland park that provide wetland conservation and restoration, scientific research, publicity and education and demonstration.
Entering the Weinan River Ecological Corridor, you can participate in science education and hydrophilic activities as well as outdoor activities, traditional shadow play, folk drama performances with joyful experience.
