The design utilizes the precious historical and cultural value of Fanshan Industrial Site as The Alum Capital of The World. It combines site protection with landscape design and holistic tourism development. Professional ecological technologies are engaged to control the residual pollution of alum mining and stabilize the geological conditions of this former mining area and restore its historical monuments. The Alum Ore is fully referenced with existing site conditions as the key cultural element in the whole planning. Different methods are used to design experience spaces and forms with different connotations, adding new values to the industrial heritage thus enriching the diverse experiences for tourists and activating the new local tourism economy.
