A Lake Makes A Beautiful City
Water is the greatest treasure to a city given by the nature. It not only satisfies the needs of local residents for production and living, but also gives the city a lot of warmth and tenderness. The Sanhu New District of Jiyuan City is rich in water resources. Based on the natural rivers and lakes, in the landscape design project of Sanhu New District we added causeways and bridges to connect the islands and divided the large water body into river, inner bay and inner lake. By doing that, we create a rhythm in spatial experience to the openness or closeness and added more layers to the water landscape. After refining the spaces, we also created two characteristic leisure belts and six functional zones: complex trade area, exclusive residential area around the lake, waterfront business and leisure area, ecological leisure area, waterfront residential area and waterfront commercial area. The functional zones not only expanded the functionality but also improved the image and temperament of the city. It also realized the dream of living in beautiful and elegant waterfront leisure space.
When you come here, the fascinating landscape almost make you feel like walking around the West lake and just want to stay.
