Charming Shepan With A Thousand Attractions
Shepan Island is the largest island in Taizhou. It has beautiful scenery, profound historical heritage, unique natural resources and superior geographical location. It is known as the Island with a thousand holes and the excellent scenery of the East China Sea. The overall goal is creating a national 5A level scenic location around the Shepan Island. We use the "culture" to construct the soul, take the "water" as the context, use the "flower" to create the scenes and bring in "light" to add colours.  We dig deep into the local customs, history and culture. In design, we optimize the infrastructure, renovate the building façades, rectify the traffic system, water network and pipeline system, etc. The project has achieved the three major themes of comprehensive environmental improvement, industry upgrade and revitalization and property protection development on Shekou Island.
After the revitalization, Shepan island has transformed into a liveable tourism friendly characteristic coastal town. It is now recognised as the second batch of small scale urban comprehensive environmental improvement provincial demonstration project in Zhejiang Province in 2017 and the second batch of Tourism Characteristic Town from Zhejiang Culture and Tourism Department. It also passed the test by the Zhejiang Ancient Village Protection Demonstration Assessment and Acceptance Group. The prosperity of the tourism industry not only revitalized the industry of Shepan town, but also promoted local economic development, improved the life quality of villagers and boosted the construction of Beautiful Countryside.
