The influx of upstream Industrial sewage, domestic sewage and initial rainwater exceeded the capacity of the temporary water treatment equipment resulting in pollution of the Laolongba water body and affected the water quality of the downstream Jingwan section. In order to reduce the load of pollutants treatment, the design team designed multi-level ecological treatment process according to local conditions. The design improves the stability of the pond, increases the regional biodiversity, enhances the landscape quality of the pond, restore the pond ecosystem and effectively achieve the long term improvement of the water quality of the Jingwan section.
