Construction Of Sponge City According To Local Conditions
Jiaxing is located on the plain river network area. The Shijiuyang Ecological Wetland Park sits in the northwest of Jiaxing City, next to Shijiuyang Water Plant. Our design is based on the existing wetland. The optimization design and upgrading must follow the once-in-a-century water level. The root-hole wetland originally designed in the west of Shijiuyang has been transformed into a horizontal underflow root-hole area. The field division was re-constructed to rearrange the wetland influent and effluent with the wetland substrates. By pre-treating the raw water, adding the ecological filter dam and overflow weir, reconstructing root hole wetland and restoring the water, the ecological environment of the Shijiuyang Ecological Wetland Park has improved. It is also able to satisfy the daily supply volume of Shijiuyang Water Plant   25X104 cubic metre/day and 95% water supply guarantee rate. It has brought simultaneous benefit towards improving water quality and enhancing the ecological landscape.
