Rebuild A Beautiful And Ecological Shoreline Of  Shepan
Mountain, water, forest, farmland, lake and grass is one community originally. During the site visit, we found serious ecological-shoreline damage about 2.5km near the south side of the island from the dock to Yongtaiwen Highway. There are serious siltation ouside the embankment, broken platform on the embankment, thick wild grasses and low biodiversity. According to the Zhejiang Provincial Costline Restoration Standard and the suggestions from Shepan local government and the existing conditions we carried out our design work. We selected local materials for the restoration construction.  The remediation is through naturalization, ecology, landscape and capacity enhancement. We also recovered six main preventive tourism stops—Jumping Fish Square, Tourist Pier, Viewing Platform, Wetland Sightseeing Area, Freight Terminal and  Fish Pond Repaid Area and added important landscape nods. These movements upgraded the image of the shoreline, increased biodiversity, raised stability of the eco-system and recreated the beauty of Shepan ecological shoreline. “looking at the lake and mountains, full of hearts and minds”!
